For several years, many pilots with physical disabilities have been coming to Beringer to ask us for an appropriate braking system.  
So that their disability doesn’t become an obstacle to the practice of their passion. We offer a thumb braking system, articulated on ball bearings which makes its operation smooth and ultra-dosable. 

This complete and independent assembly is fixed between the clutch control and the left handle.
The pilot then has two choices: use only the thumb brake for rear braking or keep the foot brake on as well. 

More generally, our entire Aerotec® product range adapts to the specific needs of pilots by offering a better feeling, a reduction in effort and at the same time an increase in accuracy.

"With the Beringer brake system, there is more feeling, the products are stronger and the finish is at its best.  "For 8 years I had been driving for another brand of braking. When I built my Beringer system I was going straight to qualifying for the French GP event. I was a little apprehensive about the first braking to know how it would react. Finally at the end of the first lap and after warming up my brakes, I discovered a great feeling, no need to force the brake to stop the bike. I had a great feeling when I took the brake on the angle that really made me feel confident. During the ride I had a lot of fun delaying my trigger points and saving seconds. Benoît Thibal, Christopher Guezet, Willy Mourgues drive with the thumb brake system in the association. We are all delighted with the progress it has brought us in feeling. »

L'Appaloosa, a bike with bite!

This year, the Indian Scout is celebrating its 100th anniversary. For this occasion, the American manufacturer has developed a racing machine with a Grand Prix star on its handlebar: Randy Mamola.

 

Starting from the base of a Bobber Scout, Brice Hennebert of Workhorse Speedshop created this "Appaloosa". No less than 700 hours of design and assembly. Major modifications have been made to the motorcycle, particularly to the chassis, including the rear buckle, swing arm and steering column. In terms of rear braking, he opted for our 4D system, which consists of 2 ø230 discs and a 4-piston caliper. 


The Appaloosa is entered in the Sultans of Sprint championship in the Factory category for the three European events of which it is composed.

Beringer will be present at the 2019 Sunday Ride Classic
The 2019 Sunday Ride Classic (SRC) will take place on May 11 and 12, 2019 at Circuit Paul Ricard. The program of the week-end: exceptional races, including a 4-hour classic endurance championship, a sidecar race and a race reserved for the single and twin-cylinder Ducati before 1988. 
But also: 

Klass 250 GP 
The Honda RS 250, Aprilia RSv or Yamaha TZ of the 2000s are also eligible for their race. The generation of machines with 2-stroke V2 engines is the most technically advanced stage with 100 horsepower for less than 100 kg. 17 wheels and aluminium frames on the program: the last 2 times of Grand Prix!

ICGP 
International Classic Grand Prix is the European Grand Prix Championship for 2-stroke machines: Yamaha TZ, Kawasaki KR etc... It will be the fastest of all the classic competition boards.

Riding these historic bikes, legendary riders like Guy Martin, TT hero with a Suzuki Katana or Kevin Schwantz, a GP legend, with a Suzuki 500 RGV.

 In addition to these races, you can discover or rediscover motorcycle models in the exhibition area where manufacturers and suppliers will present their products. 

This year, for the 50th anniversary of the Honda CB 750, a village will be dedicated to the mythical Japanese with an exhibition of all series versions, prepared versions, a special parade and much more! 

As every year, Beringer will be there to present its classic range of products to fans of vintage motorcycles. And for the most modern, you will also have something to satisfy you, there will be something for all tastes. From discs, calipers, to master cylinders, we equip all motorcycle from 1970 to today!

The “24 heures du Mans”, 2019 edition!
This weekend was held the 2nd round of the World Endurance Championship: the 24h du Mans. The rainy tests gave way to the sun, an ideal time to ride and make the most of the bikes' capacity.  
This year, it is the official Kawasaki n°11 motorcycle that wins after a fierce battle against Honda n°111 and the Susuki du Sert n°2. A race full of twists and turns: many falls and about fifteen retirements. 

Of the 7 teams equipped with a Beringer braking system, 3 finished the race. 

Team Bolliger 
The three Bolliger team riders were able to stand up to the official teams. After 24h02 of intense racing, 827 laps and 26 pit stops, the Swiss crew managed to move up to 5th place in the overall classification. A very good performance that allowed them to reach 4th place in the World Endurance Championship. 

Motobox Kremer 
The German team riding a Yamaha R1 celebrated its 20th anniversary at Le Mans! At the start on 32nd place, their objective in this race was to finish in the top 20 and they succeeded! After some problems (Gregory ORTIZ's crash and power failure of the headlights), the Motobox Kremer riders climbed to 15th place in the overall classification. 
This second day of the World Endurance Championship allowed them to move into the first half of the ranking by reaching 14th place. 

Webike Tati Team
The Beaujolais amateur team is no exception and also faces electronics and fuel tank problems during the race. Difficulties that made them lose nearly 30min, which is a nice fall in the ranking. But the very good work of the mechanics, drivers and the whole team allowed the Tati Team to finish the race in 27th place. Despite a difficult race, the team finished in a very good 13th place in the championship.  

Mototech EWC 
New riders and a demanding bike for this 2018-2019 season. Conditions that are not easy to start the championship. The difficulties begin on Saturday morning after the free test session where a water leak is detected and requires a complete engine change within 3 hours of the start. Thanks to the work of the mechanics, the bike is ready on time! A few hours after the start, Sébastien Le Grelle crashed, the bike seemed to have been repaired but the problems followed one another and the team lost a lot of time. After 7 hours of racing, Mototec EWC decided to give up. The team is 28th at the EWC but there are still 3 races left in the championship to get a few places in the ranking. 


"Les 24h du Mans" is a challenging race that saw some of its participants give up after a few hours of racing. The championship is not finished yet, see you on May 11, 2019 in Slovakia for the next round of the World Endurance Championship.
